ĆERANIĆ: MEETING WITH ORBÁN UNDERSCORES HUNGARY'S SUPPORT FOR SRPSKA

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – Dean of the Faculty of Security Studies at the University of Banja Luka Predrag Ćeranić told SRNA that today’s meeting between the Republika Srpska delegation and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest confirms that Hungary continues to support Srpska both politically and economically.

"Orbán has shown that he is a friend, that Hungary supports both Serbia and Republika Srpska, and this visit reflects the continuity of that cooperation," Ćeranić said.

He pointed out that SNSD President Milorad Dodik is staying in Budapest together with Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić-Babić and Minister of Science and Technology Development and Higher Education Siniša Karan, the incoming president of Srpska, which is another confirmation of ongoing institutional and broader cooperation with Hungary.

"This means that the continuity of cooperation with Hungary, as well as the support that the country provides to Republika Srpska in political and economic terms, will continue," Ćeranić emphasized.
