SECOND SHELTER DESTROYED AT ORTHODOX CEMETERY IN BANOVIĆI AREA

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 5 /SRNA/ – Another shelter has been torn down at an Orthodox cemetery in the Banovići municipality, this time in the village of Borovci, the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Serbs in the Federation of BiH said.

The beams holding up the shelter were cut with a chainsaw or a handsaw, and the structure was then pushed over onto its side.

The committee said this could indicate that the same person or people were responsible as in the earlier case at the Gradina Serbian Orthodox cemetery near Banovići, where a shelter was also cut down.

The Borovci Orthodox cemetery is about three kilometers from the Gradina Orthodox cemetery.
