BUDIMIR: IT IS IMPORTANT FOR ACADEMIC COMMUNITY TO GIVE SCIENTIFIC OPINION ON CRISIS IN BiH

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 21 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Science and Technology Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir has said today that it is important for the academic part of public to give a scientific opinion on the current crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the scientific meeting "Dayton Peace Accords - 30 years of peace and stability", Budimir pointed out that this crisis concerns everyone, and that Christian Schmidt is committing a political crime.

He emphasized that the unconstitutional Court and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH were created for specific criminal acts, and that these institutions are trying to legalize the persecution and ethnic cleansing of Serbs in BiH.

"It bothers me that my colleagues who work in the BiH judiciary do not see this as a problem," said Budimir.

If Srpska adheres to the imposed norms, says Budimir, it will be bad for it.

"BiH is a complex community, but Srpska has its place," Budimir stated,

He said that today the Armed Forces are seen as the army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Zukan Helez, is threatening.

"Now that we have taken legal action, in the Federation of BiH they call our officials fugitives," Budimir concluded.

The scientific conference "Dayton Peace Accords - 30 years of peace and stability" is organized by the Center for Socio-Political Research of Republika Srpska, under the auspices of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
