BRANKOVIĆ: REFERENDUM PROVES THAT SRPSKA IS FIGHTING LIKE A LION

BELGRADE, AUGUST 21 /SRNA/ – Former diplomat Branko Branković told SRNA that the announced referendum in Republika Srpska on the decisions of the Court of BiH and the self-proclaimed high representative in BiH demonstrates the determination of the leadership of Srpska to fight like a lion for the full implementation of the Dayton Peace Accords.

Branković believes that in the latest crisis in BiH, the most important thing is that Republika Srpska continues to firmly defend the position that the Dayton Peace Accords must be implemented in its entirety.

"The essence is to insist that Dayton must not and cannot be violated, because if that is allowed, it leads to chaos in BiH," Branković said.

He emphasized that Republika Srpska does not allow the Dayton Agreement to be dismantled and rightfully raises a big question mark about the legality of everything decided in Sarajevo, especially since this is done at the initiative of the self-proclaimed high representative who completely unauthorized sits in Sarajevo, because he was not accepted by the UN Security Council.

Commenting on the current situation in BiH, Branković said that a broader picture must be taken into account, because in everything happening in Europe, one must primarily keep in mind the relations between Russia and the USA in resolving the issue of Ukraine.

He stressed that certain European countries do not know what to do with their anger and dissatisfaction over the fact that nobody is asking them anything, so they are “trying in various ways to show that they are somebody.”

"All those who do this are now trying to create chaos in BiH. Unfortunately, they neither ask nor understand the Serbs, Croats, or Muslims," said Branković.

He emphasized that the peoples of BiH are fed up with war, conflict, and suffering.

"However, that `never mind` society from Europe, which wants to find some political shelter for itself, does not care at all. I think that is why it is most important that all peoples in BiH do not allow this so-called boss, the German /Christian Schmidt/, to run the show," Branković stated.
