BANJA LUKA, APRIL 7 /SRNA/ - The News Agency of Republika Srpska - SRNA today, on the occasion of 33 years of work and Patron Saint's Day, presented the book "Testimony about the Unpunished Crime against Serbs in Podrinje," a document and poignant testimony about Serb suffering in Serbian and English.

This is a book of truth about the great Serb suffering in Podrinje during the Defensive-Patriotic War.

It brings very painful, difficult and harrowing newspaper stories about numerous mass merciless crimes committed by Muslim units against Serb civilians and soldiers.

"This is a collection of documents, accounts and testimonies about brutal crimes that were collected by journalists instead of prosecutors whose main job that is and for which they have been paid," the book's foreword states.

The mass crimes committed against Serb civilians, the looting and destruction of everything Serbian show the clear genocidal intentions of the Muslim military and political leadership led by the then SDA leader Alija Izetbegović.

"For three decades, no one was held accountable for the numerous mass crimes committed against Serbian civilians in Podrinje, from Jošanica and Jamić near Foča to Kukavici near Rogatica, Skelano, Bjelovac, Kravica, Ratković, Brežan, Krnjić, Zagon, Žutica, Magašić, Podravanja, Fakovići in Srebrenica and Bratunac to Glođanski brdo in Zvornik municipality," the preface reads.

As it is added, this book is a testimony of those and other crimes against Serbs that the prosecutors did not want to record.
