BANJA LUKA, APRIL 3 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that he fully supports the politics of US President Donald Trump, and proposed, taking care of the interest of Srpska, for BiH to remove all customs burdens on goods from the USA.

"I fully support the policy of President Trump - America in the first place. We should also put our interest first. Taking care of the interest of Republika Srpska, I propose BiH to abolish all customs burdens on goods from the USA," Dodik posted on the social network X.

In this way, he added, they would create the conditions for reaching a free trade agreement between BiH and the USA, which would mean zero rate of customs.

"That would enable further development of our economy," Dodik pointed out.

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order yesterday, which introduces a basic tariff of 10 percent on all imports into the US from April 5, while additional, reciprocal tariffs for countries with the largest trade deficit will take effect on April 9. A customs duty of 20 percent has been set for the EU.
