ARLOV: EVERYONE IN SRPSKA SHOULD REJECT THE JUDGMENT, SUPPORT PRESIDENT DODIK AND OUR INSTITUTIONS

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 12 /SRNA/ - The complete second-instance verdict of the Appellate Panel of the Court of BiH and the confirmation of the CEC to revoke the mandate and punish the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik should be rejected by everyone in the Republika Srpska, regardless of political opinion and disagreement, said the Committee for Aid to Kosovo and Metohija.

"This is about belittling and discriminating against the institution of the President of the Republika Srpska, the personality of Milorad Dodik, as well as the entire Republika Srpska... If we don't do it now, we may not have another opportunity in future to show our firm stance, who we chose to lead us.

We must follow the generations that said NO to foreign and internal factors in the 1990s and set out to create Republika Srpska that we have now and we must preserve it," said the statement signed by the president of the Committee Milorad Arlov.

The Committee emphasized that even then not everyone thought alike, but when it came to the survival of the Serb people as a whole to protect themselves from visible discrimination and disappearance, everyone was in agreement and created the Republika Srpska, which is why we have it today.

"As a man who has been helping our Serbian children and the suffering Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija for almost two decades, I call on behalf of the Committee for Aid to Kosovo and Metohija all non-governmental organizations, associations, cultural-artistic societies... of Republika Srpska to support our President Milorad Dodik and the institution of the President of the Republic and that in the coming year 2026, we in the Republika Srpska vote and choose who we want to lead us in the Republika Srpska, and not for someone to impose solutions and personalities on us," the statement said.
