AID READY FOR NINE LOCAL COMMUNITIES

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 28 /SRNA/ - Today and tomorrow, the Republika Srpska Red Cross will distribute humanitarian aid to nine local communities in Srpska most threatened by floods.

The goods will be distributed in coordination with municipal and city organisations in the area of Banja Luka, Gradiška, Kotor Varoš, Čelinac, Laktaši, Srbac, Derventa, Doboj and Teslić, the Republika Srpska Red Cross announced.

The aid includes blankets, boots, raincoats, shovels, room disinfectants and personal hygiene products, pla plastic buckets, and a certain amount of canned food and drinking water.

The Red Cross notes that there is no room for panic, that they are closely monitoring the situation and, in accordance with the capabilities of the local population in a state of need, will react and distribute humanitarian aid to the field.
