"The quality of the doctoral dissertations has been confirmed by their publication in prestigious scientific journals, which means that their quality has been internationally recognized," Gajanin said at a press conference.
Borislav Vukojević, who earned his Doctorate in Communication Studies and was awarded his degree today at the ceremony, emphasized that his motivation was to advance his knowledge and that he believes he has succeeded, given that he researched the topic of podcasts from a theoretical perspective.
"What motivated me to take this step was the openness of my Faculty of Political Sciences, as well as my own decision to advance in that direction. I tried to achieve results within the system available to me, and I believe I have succeeded in some way," Vukojević emphasized.
Đorđe Đukanović earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine, specializing in Pharmacy. His research focused on therapeutic agents that aid in treating cardiovascular diseases.
"We focused on new channels that are popular in research. We used modern computational techniques combined with artificial intelligence for the development and design of new candidates, and we achieved good results," Đukanović said.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Ranko Škrbić, stated that this faculty has the highest number of Doctors of Science, highlighting the strong interest in pursuing the third cycle of studies.
"This year, of the 28 Doctors of Science we are awarding, 14 come from the Faculty of Medicine. They have published 28 papers in prestigious international scientific journals. The Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Zoran Đurić emphasized that one of the two Doctors of Science awarded today is employed at this faculty, which strengthens the foundation for scientific research and student engagement.
