BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić said that Serbia will provide full support to Republika Srpska, which, as part of BiH, has been under enormous pressure in recent times, as have its President Milorad Dodik and his family, and that the period ahead will not be an easy one.

“There is always someone they can and must rely on! We will stand by Srpska and do everything we can to preserve peace and stability, so that the people in Srpska can feel at home on their own land, without changing anything established by the Dayton Agreement,” Vučić said at the beginning of a session of the Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska in Belgrade.

Vučić emphasized that Serbia stands with the citizens of Srpska and that they will never face any blockades.

He pointed out that cooperation with Srpska in all areas is important for Belgrade, and that today they will review which concrete measures should be taken together, while respecting others and not inflicting harm or pain to anyone.

Vučić stated that the First All-Serbian Assembly and the Declaration adopted on June 8, 2024, received the harshest reactions in the region and caused chaos, but that it is merely a foundation on which the future is being built without harming anyone.

“We are not violating anything, not a single UN charter; we are adhering to the Dayton Peace Agreement and will continue to do so,” the President of Serbia said.
