VUČIĆ: POLITICAL SARAJEVO ATTACKING PEACE, SEEKING CONFLICT

BELGRADE, APRIL 10 /SRNA/ - The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić said that by calling for shooting and the arrest of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, representatives of political Sarajevo are shooting at peace and seeking conflict with the Serbian people.

"Anyone who doesn't see or understand that has no place on the political scene," Vučić said.

He pointed out that the conflict in BiH began when wedding guest Nikola Gardović was killed in Baščaršija, and added that he does not want any conflict to occur and will do everything in his power to prevent it.

Vučić says that he cannot accept the narrative that Dodik is to blame for everything, because it simply isn’t true, and that Serbia has strictly adhered to the letter of the Dayton Agreement from the beginning until today, unlike the distorted wishes of Sarajevo’s politicians.

“Serbia supports the Dayton Agreement and the territorial integrity of BiH, just as I support the territorial integrity of Republika Srpska as an entity within BiH - because that is an integral part of the Dayton Agreement. The jurisdictions and prerogatives of Republika Srpska’s authorities are also part of that agreement,” Vučić said.

He emphasized that, unlike Sarajevo, Serbia acts very responsibly and seriously when it comes to the Dayton Agreement and BiH, and that it will always support both Republika Srpska and BiH as a whole.

"It's hard for you in Sarajevo to admit that you can't solve problems within BiH, so you always have to shift the blame to Serbia. Go ahead - keep comforting yourselves with your falsehoods. We will continue to build Serbia, and we will always extend a hand to you, whether you choose to take it or not," Vučić said.
