OSEČINA, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ – Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić has said today that the FBiH media use the nouns and adjectives such as "executioner" and "monster" only for Serbs, which will continue, adding that Serbs should be sufficiently smart, strong and wise to maintain peace and to know well "what both they and those who supported them and continue to support them today have in mind".

Vučić said that Westerners want to say, "You Serbs are the only ones to blame; there are no others," and that Serbs are expected to accept this.

He pointed out that the FBiH media do not write that "the bloodthirsty killer is walking free" in reference to Elfeta Veseli, who personally slit the throat of 12-year-old Slobodan Stojanović because she "could not resist the boy’s beautiful blue eyes".

"They did not write `executioner` or `the monster has been released`. These nouns and adjectives exist only for Serbs, which will continue. It is up to us to be sufficiently smart, strong and wise, to maintain peace, and to know well what both they and those who supported them and continue to support them today have in mind," Vučić said at the opening of the 21st Plum Fair in Osečina.

He said that Serbia should continue to grow economically, while it is up to Serbs to protect their children and raise them in the Serb spirit, in the spirit of tradition and pride, without offending anyone, but also without abandoning their dignity and pride.

"Let us not allow them to spit on and destroy Serbia. We will have to endure much more, but we will also respond and protect and preserve our Serbia," Vučić said.

He stressed that all those who took part in crimes against Serbs had always been acquitted or "supposedly punished," only for second-instance courts to subsequently issue different decisions and acquit them.

Vučić said that those involved in the persecution and pogrom of 250,000 people during Croatia’s criminal Operation Storm, from Ante Gotovina to all the others, had been acquitted; Naser Orić was also acquitted, and "no one cared about the unequivocal testimony that he had personally taken part in the bloodthirsty murder of Slobodan Ilić".

The Serbia's president said that the verdict for Hashim Thaçi, expected on September 16, would also be an acquittal with regard to the charges concerning crimes against Serbs.

"This is not the end of it, because today they will also be measuring emotions in both Srpska and Serbia, because, as I have learned, they have scheduled the verdict in the Hashim Thaçi case for September 16, and it will be such as to cover the days he spent in detention, while the essence of the indictment concerning all the crimes committed against the Serb people will, for the most part, result in an acquittal," Vučić said.
