BELGRADE, MAY 20 /SRNA/ - Three companies from Republika Srpska participated in the 67th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements in Belgrade, including the only LED display factory in Southeast Europe, which exports its products to 85 countries worldwide. The Republika Srpska Chamber of Commerce organized their participation with support from the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Serbia.

Slobodan Dragićević, Secretary of the Association for Information and Communication Technologies of the Republika Srpska Chamber of Commerce, told SRNA that representatives of Republika Srpska’s innovative industry were present at the fair.

Dragićević pointed out that market demands are such that the economy of Republika Srpska can compete with regional and global economies only through an innovative approach, emphasizing that one of the fair participants, the company "Antena Net" from Teslić, is the only LED display factory in Southeast Europe.

This company showcased its brand "Belgrand" and presented an innovation – the sports scoreboard "Master Score," which won an award at the "Inost Youth Fair" in Banjaluka. This innovation has not been applied anywhere else in the world so far.

Mile Aleksić, who leads marketing and design at the company "Antena Net," said that around 80 percent of their products are exported to 13 countries. He highlighted as an advantage the wide range of specialized products designed for customers' needs.

"The products we offer are, in a way, products of the future; they are platforms on which companies or businesses can present their products or services and generate income by renting out advertising space. Currently, video content brings significantly more revenue to companies than traditional printed materials," Aleksić added.

The company "Kolektor" from Laktaši is also at the Republika Srpska stand. It is part of a Slovenian group employing over 5,000 people and operating in 33 countries worldwide. In BiH, it operates at three locations — Klačice, Srbac, and Prijedor.

The director of "Kolektor," Predrag Zorić, told SRNA that the company is a supplier to the automotive industry. Their primary product is the commutator, used in cars, portable devices, and household appliances as a component of electric motors.

“Kolektor” supplies companies such as Bosch, Black & Decker, and many other global brands directly, with 90 percent of its customers based in the EU.

Also exhibiting at the fair is “Mafleks” from Bijeljina, which manufactures metal flexible pipes and shafts, exporting a large portion of its products to the EU, primarily Germany.

The co-owner of the company, Rade Stojanović, emphasized plans to expand into the US market in the future, noting the high demand and steady need for these pipes.

The 67th International Fair of Technology and Technical Achievements under the slogan "Technology in Your Hands" opened today in Belgrade. This is the oldest and most prestigious technical and technological fair in this part of Europe, featuring around 600 exhibitors from around thirty countries across four continents, including companies from Republika Srpska.
