BELGRADE, OCTOBER 26 /SRNA/ – Some citizens are leaving a gathering of supporters of the Student List at Slavija Square in Belgrade this evening, while others are arriving at the site where the list’s victory in Serbia’s parliamentary elections is being celebrated, an SRNA reporter at the scene reports.

Drivers passing along Belgrade’s Kneza Miloša Street are honking their horns in support of citizens moving in both directions, to and from Slavija Square. Among those leaving the square was former Democratic Party of Serbia /DSS/ leader Vojislav Koštunica.

Several armoured police vehicles passed along Kneza Miloša Street on a number of occasions.

Citizens are walking around the area of Pionirski Park, which they refer to as "liberated territory". Tents erected by supporters of the Serbian Progressive Party /SNS/ had stood there for almost two years.
