SERIES ABOUT JASENOVAC MARTYRS FROM TOMORROW ON SRpska NAtional

EAST SARAJEVO, APRIL 21 /SRNA/ - On April 21, the SRpska NAtional will start publishing texts about Jasenovac concentration camp inmates.

"The genocide against Serbs in the Independent State of Croatia /NDH/ is one of those historical events that have fundamentally influenced the current identity of the Serbian people, their historical development, and understanding of their duration and their own existence," said historian Predrag Lozo.

He stated that it is well known in science that the preparation of the genocide against Serbs was achieved by the ideology of Croatian rightism and the actions of the Roman Catholic Church, united in the idea of Croatian state and historical law, that is, in the concept of one political nation, which emerged in Croatian circles in the mid-19th century, although the historical roots of intolerance are much deeper.

The series brings parts of the book Forgotten - A Book about the Last Jasenovac Camp Inmates, by Dejan Motl and Đorđe Mihovilović, which represents indispensable literature in the research of crimes and the fate of individuals in the Jasenovac and Stara Gradiška camps.

The authors have brought the most extensive and precise analysis to date of those who, in the last days of the Jasenovac and Stara Gradiška camps, managed to escape from the camps, hide in the camp or retreat with the Ustashas and thus survive until the arrival of the Yugoslav Army.
