OVERSIGHT OF ORGANIZER OF UEFA CONGRESS HAS BEEN CORRECTED

BELGRADE, APRIL 3 /SRNA/ - The Football Association of Serbia /FSS/ announced that it has corrected the oversight of the organizer of today's UEFA Congress in Belgrade, which one of the participants tried to use for non-football-related interests.

A press release says that the 49th UEFA Congress, one of the largest events ever in the country, is being held in Belgrade today. UEFA is the organizer of the event, while the Football Association of Serbia is hosting the most important football figures from Europe and the world. However, the oversight by the organizer cast a shadow on the excellent organization.

"We reacted together, quickly and decisively, and we inform the public with full responsibility that there are no flags or pennants of so-called Kosovo at the UEFA Congress today in Belgrade," says the press release from the FSS.

The Football Association of Serbia apologizes to every citizen of Serbia and every member of the Serbian people, especially those in Kosovo and Metohija, who were disturbed and hurt by the oversight of the organizer, which was immediately corrected by the FSS's response.

It has been posted on social media that the president of the Football Association of so-called Kosovo Agim Ademi was photographed today at the Congress next to the flag of so-called Kosovo.
