JUDGMENT AGAINST SRPSKA PRESIDENT ANTI-CIVILIZATIONAL

BELGRADE, AUGUST 4 /SRNA/ – Speaker of the Serbian National Assembly Ana Brnabić has stated today that the judgment against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is undemocratic, anti-civilizational, and shameful.

"A verbal offense judgment is undemocratic and anti-civilizational. No one who claims to be a democrat, who advocates for the rule of law, can stand behind such a judgment. It is disgraceful," Brnabić told TV Pink.

According to her, such actions do not belong in a democratic society.

The Appellate Division of the Court of BiH previously upheld the first-instance judgment sentencing Milorad Dodik to one year in prison and six years of ban from political activity for allegedly "non-compliance with the decisions of Christian Schmidt".
