DODIK: I AM MOTIVATED BY THE FIGHT AGAINST INJUSTICE

BELGRADE, JUNE 11 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that the proceedings before the extra-constitutional Court of BiH will not stop him, and that his fight against injustice gives him motivation and strength, because he is being subjected to a political trial simply for being the president of Republika Srpska.

Dodik emphasized that this is also proven by the fact that Interpol refused to issue a warrant for his arrest.

"What they wanted with that verdict was for me to be preoccupied with myself. Well, I did not allow that to happen. And I have managed to carry out normal duties, to go wherever I am invited," Dodik told RTS.

Dodik, who in the past three months visited Moscow, Budapest, Belgrade, and Jerusalem, pointed out the support he receives from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, with whom he met for the eleventh time.

He emphasized that Orbán is experiencing similar things in Hungary, namely media attacks, attacks from certain structures in Brussels, earlier from the Biden administration in the U.S., the blocking of funds from Brussels, as well as demonization.

"It's somewhat easier now because that rigid American stance no longer exists. Under Trump, we got a normalization that is already visible, where you don't have, for example, Americans behaving like a bull in a glass store," said Dodik.

He emphasized that the Interpol decision clearly defined the process against him as political, and that he feels comfortable knowing that the world is increasingly recognizing what this is really about.

"They didn't manage to confine me mentally to only dealing with myself. But those in Sarajevo went down that path – they are exclusively focused on Milorad Dodik. They do nothing else. Whenever you go to any forum in Sarajevo, the topic is Milorad Dodik," said the President of Republika Srpska.

He confirmed that he will not attend tomorrow's public session of the Appeals Chamber of the extra-constitutional Court of BiH and reminded that all his associates, from the government to the parliament, have very clearly stated that this no longer has any effect in Republika Srpska.

Dodik stated that, given that the process has gained some international attention by demonizing Milorad Dodik, his lawyers have suggested that it must be annulled in some international legal procedure.

"But in order to have an international legal process, you first have to finish everything here and go to the Constitutional Court," Dodik said.

He assessed that even the truncated Constitutional Court will do the same because it is dominated by Muslims, and reminded that almost all participants in that process are Muslims.

"I am now a major target for them and their war ideology, but it will not end that way. The processes in BiH are disintegrative and will become even more so if such unlawful policies continue to be implemented," Dodik said.

The President of Republika Srpska reminded that he could not be brought before a court for any act prescribed by the law of BiH and added that for this reason, they decided to do so by the decision of "some Schmidt".

Dodik stated that Schmidt is committed to the ideology of Nazism and that because of this he was even criticized in Germany, where a serious institution proposed sanctions against Schmidt for having disgraced Germany, noting that such a thing could not have been seen just five years ago.

When asked about his support for the formation of a third, Croatian entity, Dodik said that Schmidt belongs to a generation of the German political establishment that included Helmut Kohl and Genscher, who broke up Yugoslavia and to whom the Croats remain permanently grateful.

"Even while he worked in the European Parliament, I don't know in what capacity, he visibly supported the Croats, and then suddenly appeared here. And then he made some decisions that the Muslims did not like, and the Muslims took to the streets," said Dodik.

Dodik pointed out that protests in Sarajevo are an exclusivity allowed only to Muslims, and that neither Serbs nor Croats would risk such a protest due to the danger of a major incident.

He believes that the Muslims have "calmed down a bit" because they expect Schmidt to complete his work against him, but says that this will not happen.

Dodik stated that no one in Republika Srpska will cause an incident when Schmidt likely comes to commemorate the anniversary of the events in Srebrenica.

"But any other story, outside of that date, just try coming to Republika Srpska. He will be deported, expelled, and kicked out," Dodik warned.

He emphasized that Schmidt is a true separatist in BiH, whose "strength" as an international factor is shown by the fact that he dares not announce his visit to Republika Srpska.

Dodik reiterated that BiH is a failed country, which can succeed only through serious efforts by everyone, but that those serious efforts do not exist, especially because the Muslims want domination over the other peoples.

He pointed out that the Croats would prefer to have their Croatian entity, but they still don't dare to say it openly, so Schmidt said it for them.

"I think that is the only solution for the Croats," Dodik said.

He also added that the Croats are fully aware they cannot count on any part of the territory of Republika Srpska, nor can they expect any change in the distribution of authorities.

Dodik stated that Dayton has been undone and can no longer be put back together.
