BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated today in Belgrade that it is a disheartening fact that the European Union /EU/ advocates the rule of law while standing behind lawlessness in BiH.

“I cannot say anything positive about the EU, which accepts that someone without authority imposes laws in BiH, and the Brussels administration calls this the rule of law,” Dodik said in an address at a session of the Council for Cooperation between Republika Srpska and Serbia.

Dodik said that neither Republika Srpska nor Serbia will remain silent or submit, because Serbs do not kneel.

“But we are hurt by the cynicism and injustice being sown against us. They claim to defend the Dayton Agreement, yet they do everything to destroy it. They dismantled Resolution 1244 and do not allow the establishment of a community of Serbian municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija,” Dodik emphasized.

Dodik said that the bombing and sanctions were not enough, and now they demand that their requests be fulfilled without objection.

“They are forbidding us from saying that we are one people, of one faith and one script. That is why we have gathered today to demonstrate our unity and strength. Every member of our people understands how significant this day is,” Dodik said.

Dodik reminded that the Serbian people suffered the most when they were divided, and that unity and harmony should be demonstrated in these difficult times.

“It is our historical duty to be prepared for any potential crisis facing the world. Serbia needs peace, understanding, and respect for the will of the people,” Dodik said.
