Two individuals from Srebrenik were fined for misdemeanors in the Doboj area after displaying war flags of the so-called Army of BiH on their vehicles, which were subsequently confiscated.

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – War flags of the so-called Army of BiH, under which numerous crimes were committed against the Serb people, were once again carried through Bosanski Petrovac, a majority-Serb-popoulated

municipality in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/, the Head of the Committee protecting Serb rights in the FBiH Đorđe Radanović has told SRNA today.

He stated that a large group of people carried the war flags through this majority-Serb-populated municipality last night, which represents a provocation for the Serbs living in Bosanski Petrovac, Krupa, Ključ, and Sanski Most.

"That is the flag under which the Fifth Corps of the so-called Army of BiH killed more than 300 civilians between September and November 1995. Atif Dudaković and others are being tried for that crime as part of a joint criminal enterprise, but the trial is taking so long that many witnesses have died without seeing justice," Radanović said.

He has emphasized that this is one of the reasons why Republika Srpska must be preserved.

"Republika Srpska is a guarantee that the Serbs will not again suffer genocides and ethnic cleansings committed between 1941 and 1945, and between 1991 and 1995," Radanović added.

He noted that federal police had fined two Serb youths BAM 500 on Orthodox Christmas in 2020 because they took photos with the Serbian coat of arms, and at that time the Una-Sana Canton Interior Ministry suspended two Serb police officers who were in the company of the youths.

"Fortunately, thanks to the timely and free engagement and efforts of a lawyer from Republika Srpska, the young men were released from paying the fine, and the suspended Serb police officers were reinstated after two years of legal proceedings," Radanović said.

Through the war flags of the so-called Army of BiH and by shouting Allahu Akbar in the Federation of BiH, attempts are being made to intimidate the small number of Serbs.

A convoy bearing war symbols and frightening chants that accompanied ritual killings of Serbs by beheading, passed through Serb returnee villages in the municipality of Bosanski Petrovac, where, according to the organisers, they marked on September 14 the 30th anniversary of the "liberation" of that Krajina municipality.

The convoy consisted mostly of young people who moved through Serb villages with provocations, while being led by a police patrol.

Bosanski Petrovac is one of the 13 municipalities in Western Krajina on which members of the HVO and the Fifth Corps of the so-called Army of BiH carried out an offensive.

Due to crimes committed in that area against Serb soldiers and civilians, the Court of BiH is conducting proceedings against Dudaković and 15 other commanders of the so-called Army of BiH.

The indictment charges them with killing more than 300 Serbs, mostly civilians, as well as destroying a large number of Serb villages.
