SUSPECT FOR SPILLING PAINT ON SERBIAN COMPANIES’ STORES ARRESTED

SARAJEVO, MAY 20 /SRNA/ – A man identified as S.Č. /aged 39/ from Sarajevo has been arrested on suspicion of spilling red paint onto premises of companies from Serbia operating in Sarajevo and writing four letters "S", the Cantonal Ministry of Interior said.

He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of inciting national, racial, and religious hatred, division, and intolerance, announced the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.

The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office has been informed of the case.

On Friday, May 15, storefronts of companies from Serbia in Sarajevo downtown were found defaced with graffiti featuring four Cyrillic "S" symbols and red paint.
