RADANOVIĆ: ATTACK ON SERBS IN LUŠCI PALANKA SHOWS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THERE WERE NO REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, JUNE 20 /SRNA/ - President of the Committee for the Protection of Serb Rights in the Federation of BiH, Đorđe Radanović, said that the video footage showing persons of Bosniak nationality attacking Serbs in Lušci Palanka near Sanski Most best demonstrates what would happen to Serbs if there were no Republika Srpska.

Radanović told SRNA that there had never been Muslims in Lušci Palanka, according to either the 1991 census or the 2013 census, and that these two Bosniak Muslims had come there to send a message to all Serbs that there was no life for them there.

"Members of the Muslim Army's Fifth Corps first looted and then burned down all the houses in Lušci Palanka in 1995. Seven civilians were killed, elderly people who had remained in their homes, believing that, because of their age, they posed no threat to anyone’s army," Radanović recalled.

He said that today, 31 years after the burning and killings, people are being attacked because they are Serb Christians.

Republika Srpska Minister of Justice Goran Selak posted video footage of the attack by three Bosniaks on Serb returnees Mika Davidović and her husband Željko Matić in Lušci Palanka near Sanski Most on X yesterday, stating that the attackers were Suvad and Muharem Bašić, and Hasan Rekić from Fajtovci.
