SARAJEVO, APRIL 8 /SRNA/ - Members of the Federal Police Administration /FPA/ arrested a person with initials I.K. /36/, and during the search at two locations, weapons, mines and explosives, drugs, precision scales, as well as mobile phones were found.
The person I.K. was arrested yesterday, while an operational search was launched for E.M., who is currently on the run, the FPA announced.
As part of the Ata Operation in the area of Sarajevo Canton last week, 10 suspects were arrested for unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs, incitement to prostitution and unauthorized possession of weapons.
Searches were carried out at 13 locations and on that occasion about BAM 80,000, 1.5 kilograms of cocaine worth BAM 160,000, heroin, ecstasy and speed, as well as an expensive car and weapons were found.
Of the 10 arrested, six were sentenced to one-month detention, namely Feđa and Arabela Avdić, Branislav Papić, Alija Glavinić, Aldijana Dajidžić and Zlata Mujkić.
Feđa Avdić is suspected of having organized and managed a group whose members had clearly divided roles and tasks from December last year until the beginning of April. They procured, hid and sold cocaine and heroin for Avdić in the Sarajevo Canton area.
The money from the sale was handed over to him by his daughter Arabela Avdić, while Branislav Papić kept it for Avdić. Papić used the official car of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly for these criminal acts.
They earned about BAM 200 for a gram of cocaine, and BAM 70 for heroin.
The same group organized by Avdić is also suspected of inciting prostitution, by luring several girls to provide sexual services to unknown men on his orders.
All six are suspected of the criminal offense of conspiracy to commit criminal offenses related to the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs, solicitation of prostitution and illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials.
