SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 24 /SRNA/ – The decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH /CEC/ to annul early elections at 136 polling stations represents an attack on the position of the President of Republika Srpska, aimed at pushing the SNSD out of power and weakening the political position of Srpska in BiH, Miroslav Vujičić, an MP of the SNSD Club in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told SRNA today.
Vujičić said that attempts were being made through the CEC to discredit what could not be achieved through the Court and pressure from foreign actors.
He assessed that the latest CEC decision is merely a continuation of incrimination.
"The CEC also tried to incriminate the process of electing the President of Republika Srpska during the last general elections. They additionally counted ballots taken from bags when the candidate was SNSD leader Milorad Dodik," Vujičić reminded.
Earlier today, the Central Election Commission of BiH adopted a non-final decision annulling the early elections for President of Republika Srpska at 136 polling stations in 17 electoral units. The decision is subject to appeal.
