PALE, NOVEMBER 10 /SRNA/ – The SNSD presidential candidate in Republika Srpska Siniša Karan has stated tonight in Pale that the SNSD's policy over the past 20 years has been recognised as one that protects Republika Srpska, emphasizing that the upcoming elections represent a struggle for preservinge Srpska and its statehood.

Karan highlighted that Republika Srpska was born in Pale, which is the brightest and most magnificent idea of the Serb people on the left bank of the Drina River.

He says that, by definition, Republika Srpska is a state, and that for 30 years there have been attempts to dismantle it through the imposition of decisions and the taking away of competencies - yet Srpska still exists.

"Our national interest is to create the best possible place for our children to live. A people without a state will disappear. That is why the Serb people safeguard their national, historical, and existential identity," Karan told Pale residents.

He pointed out that, even after 30 years, a concept of one people – the Bosniak – is still being imposed in BiH, under which the country is viewed as a Muslim BiH, with the Bosniak political elite and Christian Schmidt seeking to make decisions.

He stated that the policy of SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik, the SNSD, and its coalition partners has, for the past two decades, been recognised as a policy that protects Republika Srpska.

"In the upcoming elections, citizens face a simple choice – are you for the Republic or against it? Your answer is perfectly clear, especially here in Pale, where Republika Srpska was born. In these elections, we are not fighting for power, it is you who are electing," Karan said.
