BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 9 /SRNA/ – SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik called on the Serb people to go voting and elect policies that have so far defended Republika Srpska.
Dodik has stated that the election campaign has begun and wished it to be conducted peacefully, emphasizing that it should be seen as an opportunity to show that the Serb people is a political one who will decide for themselves whom to trust.
"These elections should be elections for Republika Srpska and for the policy that has resisted all impositions and all attempts to devalue Republika Srpska," Dodik told SRNA.
He recalled that no one in Republika Srpska wanted these elections, claiming they were imposed by Muslim Sarajevo and "the fascist Christian Schmidt," who planned and want to send a message to the Serbs and Republika Srpska that what they think is not enough, since in their view there must always be some higher authority.
He believes that the only adequate response to the shameful judicial process against him is to oppose Schmidt’s and the Muslim policies that seek to dominate.
"I call on the people to come out and vote, and, of course, to elect the policies that have so far proven themselves as Serb-oriented that have defended Republika Srpska. These policies have faced major challenges because of that but have persisted in their defence," Dodik said.
He reminded that his four-year presidential term as the elected president of Republika Srpska was taken away under highly speculative circumstances.
"But I understand the moment we are in, and we must avoid any trap set by the Muslims from Sarajevo and that the people must, in these elections, even though they were imposed and forced, give their support to strengthening Republika Srpska," Dodik stated.
