BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 17 /SRNA/ – SNSD Vice President Željka Cvijanović has assessed that Siniša Karan is by far the best political offer in the upcoming early election for the president of Republika Srpska.
Cvijanović reiterated that the election was artificially imposed and unnecessary, stressing that the presidential mandate belongs to the SNSD.
"That mandate was earned through the work, dedication, and political resolve of Milorad Dodik, who continues to uphold it as we stand together, as a team, behind Siniša Karan. Our citizens need peace, stability, and certainty which Karan can deliver, together with the people in our party led by Dodik", Cvijanović told reporters ahead of tonight’s SNSD pre-election rally in Banja Luka’s Lazarevo neighborhood.
She expressed confidence that people recognize what the Republika Srpska Government, led by the SNSD, has accomplished so far.
"This is the message that we will not abandon our political principles, especially our commitment to a free Srpska. For that, we need peace, stability, and strong public support", Cvijanović stressed.
SNSD Main Board member Savo Minić has said tonight in Banja Luka that a victory for the party’s candidate for the president of Srpska, Siniša Karan, would also be a victory for Srpska itself.
Minić said he was pleased to see not only patriotism but also the Srpska stubbornness awakening among the people.
"We will not give up the institutions of Republika Srpska. And the people will give their say on Sunday – Karan’s victory, the victory of Republika Srpska", Minić told reporters.
SNSD official Željko Budimir stated that the team of President Milorad Dodik will win the upcoming election.
"Professor Siniša Karan is someone who continues President Dodik’s politics. We are all part of the same team, we are moving forward, and victory will follow", Budimir said.
The President of the SNSD City Board in Banja Luka, Vlado Đajić, said that only the team led by Milorad Dodik, the SNSD president, could bring stability to Republika Srpska.
"At previous rallies, people told us they do not want experiments in Republika Srpska, they want stability for their children. That is why we are voting for Siniša Karan", Đajić said.
