BLANUŠA: I WILL ADVOCATE FOR THE PROTECTION OF NATIONAL INTERESTS

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, November 16 /SRNA/ - SDS candidate for President of Republika Srpska Branko Blanuša, said this evening at a campaign rally in Istočno Sarajevo that he will advocate for the protection of national interests if citizens give him their trust on November 23.

Blanuša stated that he will also fight uncompromisingly against corruption and crime, and will work toward greater transparency in the use of public funds.

He believes it is essential to strengthen oversight mechanisms systematically, stressing the need for a thorough review of the situation in public enterprises and the public sector.

"I will work to ensure that everything related to public procurement and tenders is fully transparent," Blanuša said.

He added that natural resources, such as forests and water, must serve the citizens, announcing an initiative to establish a special fund that would allocate part of concession revenues to support the healthcare system and pensions.

Marinko Božović, member of the SDS Main Board, said that only constructive messages will be sent from this city.
