PRNJAVOR, JUNE 3 /SRNA/ - Teo Milanković, a young man from Prnjavor, told SRNA that after several months of selection, he was chosen among 10 participants from BiH in the program of the US Department of State in which he presented an educational platform based on artificial intelligence Učim.Online in New York.

Milanković stated that the selection process for participation in the BOLD program began in November last year and included several stages, including a written application, a video presentation and an interview with the shortlisted candidates.

"The program is extremely selective and only 10 participants are chosen from all over the country. During the interview, the special focus was on how we plan to use the knowledge and contacts gained through the program and what impact we can achieve in our local communities," said Milanković.

He clarified that the program was implemented in cooperation with the US Embassy in BiH and is intended exclusively for participants from BiH.

During his stay in the USA, Milanković worked on the development of the Učim. Online platform, intended for students in the Western Balkans.

According to him, the platform uses tools based on artificial intelligence to provide students with interactive learning, personalized recommendations and customized work plans.

"In the first stage, we are focused on the curricula of Republika Srpska, and after that, we plan to expand to the rest of BiH and the countries of the region," said Milanković.

He added that one of the most significant experiences during the program was the presentation of the project at the investment bank Goldman Sachs in New York, one of the largest financial institutions in the world.

Before the presentation, the participants worked for almost four weeks with professors, mentors and experts from different fields, while the preparations for presenting the projects lasted for several months.

During his stay in the USA, Milanković also obtained a certificate in entrepreneurship at Syracuse University, one of the leading American universities in the field of entrepreneurship development and the startup ecosystem.

He pointed out that the long-term goal of the project is to cooperate with educational institutions and competent ministries so that the platform is available to as many students as possible, and in the future it is completely free for users.
