"MARTA'S SHARE" WINS TWO AWARDS IN VRANJE

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ - The National Theater of Republika Srpska`s play "Marta`s Share" has won the "Radoslav Radivojević" audience award and the City of Vranje award for ensemble acting at the 46th "Bora`s Theater Days" festival, the theater said.

"Marta`s Share" is based on a text by Sanja Savić Milosavljević and directed by Nikola Bundalo.

The festival jury said the play's artistic ensemble told the story of the fate of ordinary people in the pre-war and wartime period of Yugoslavia's breakup in a thrilling and moving way.

"The strength of the cast lies in their inspired and virtuosically orchestrated performance," the citation reads.

The "Bora`s Theater Days" festival, which ran from Wednesday, October 21, until today, was dedicated to marking 150 years since the birth of Borisav Stanković.

Audiences in Vranje had the opportunity to see seven plays united under the slogan "Between Fate and Ordinary Life".
