ĐORĐE PERIĆ AWARDED GOLDEN BADGE IN PARIS FOR CONTRIBUTION TO PRESERVING SERBIAN CULTURE

BIJELJINA, JUNE 23 /SRNA/ – The Union of Serbs in France has awarded the prestigious Golden Badge to 15-year-old virtuoso Đorđe Perić from Bijeljina for his outstanding contribution to the preservation and promotion of Serbian culture around the world.

The award was presented to Đorđe during the jubilee 25th edition of the Days of Serbia and Serbian Culture event, traditionally held in Paris.

The Golden Badge symbolizes recognition of young artists whose work, achievements, and dedication contribute to affirming Serbian art and identity beyond the borders of the homeland. Đorđe Perić is a prime example – a young virtuoso whose performances have been recognized not only in the Balkans but throughout Europe and the world.

As part of the same event, Đorđe held a solo concert in the packed hall of the Serbian Cultural Center in Paris, where he presented a diverse repertoire, demonstrating exceptional technique, musicality, and emotional maturity that surpasses his age.

The audience responded with great enthusiasm to each of his performances, and the applause and reactions once again confirmed that he is a true artistic gem.

Đorđe Perić is the recipient of numerous awards at international competitions and already has an impressive number of concerts and performances behind him. His dedication to music and the promotion of cultural values makes him one of the most promising young artists of today.
