SARAJEVO, APRIL 15 /SRNA/ - Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić has assessed today that the unconstitutional Prosecutor's Office of BiH, instead of being a guarantor of the rule of law and independent justice, has become an instrument for political showdown and an extended arm of illegitimate international politicians.
"Decisions are made selectively, under political pressure, not on the basis of the law and the Constitution of BiH," Vulić said at a session of the House of Representatives during a discussion on information on the work performance of the unconstitutional Prosecutor's Office of BiH for 2024.
She added that she was particularly concerned about the fact that the judiciary is being used for political retaliation, which is most visible in the case of the staged trial against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, which is being conducted exclusively on the orders of the illegal Christian Schmidt, which undermines the sovereignty and credibility of both Republika Srpska and BiH.
"Such abuse of institutions further deepens the political crisis and undermines the foundations of the Dayton-based order," Vulić warned.
She called on all relevant local and international politicians to seriously review the work and role of the unconstitutional Prosecutor's Office of BiH in the existing political and legal framework.
MP Milan Petković warned that the pressures exerted by the unconstitutional Prosecutor's Office of BiH on officials of Republika Srpska and deputies in the Republika Srpska National Assembly are unacceptable, emphasizing that attacks on the legislative authority are unacceptable.
According to him, it is indicative that the Chief Prosecutor of the unconstitutional Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Milenko Kajganić, is not present at today's session and it is inappropriate for the House of Representatives not to adopt this information but to take it /or not/ into consideration.
During the discussion, SNSD MP Milorad Kojić assessed that this institution was a means for persecuting Serbs and political showdowns with Republika Srpska officials.
He requested the prosecute Konaković for his unworthy behavior and continuous abuse of position, illegal lobbying in the USA, money laundering - all directed against the interests of Republika Srpska and its residents.
He also criticized the unconstitutional Prosecutor's Office for turning a blind eye to the crimes committed by notorious Sakib Mahmuljin against the Serb people. "Why has this unconstitutional Prosecutor's Office of BiH remained silent for years about this, as well as about many horrific crimes against Serb civilians?" Kojić asked.
