ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 21 /SRNA/ – Bosniak ministers have been blocking for years the resolution of the issue of nuclear waste disposal along the Una River, while Republika Srpska and its representatives in the Council of Ministers have repeatedly raised this topic, said SNSD MP in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Miroslav Vujičić.
Vujičić stated that a protest note remained “in the drawer” of Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković for a month, who stopped it from being sent to Croatia, while today politicians, such as Saša Magazinović, Chair of the SDP BiH caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, accuse Srpska without arguments.
“The Republika Srpska Government and its representatives are taking all necessary steps, while some politicians are exclusively engaged in attacking SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik and Republika Srpska for positions that are in the interest of the people,” Vujičić emphasized.
He added that for the first time in the past 30 years, thanks to the activities of Dodik and the Serbs, U.S. sanctions against certain Serbs have been lifted, which, in his view, causes dissatisfaction among political opponents who would most like Dodik to remain under sanctions.
“I know this bothers Magazinović and his political comrades,” Vujičić concluded.
