"TROIKA" MUST TALK WITH INSTITUTIONS OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO, MARCH 27 /SRNA/ - Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović has stated today that there is a will of the political "troika" from Sarajevo to find new partners at the BiH level in the opposition from Republika Srpska, but that regardless of the fact that they do not want to cooperate with SNSD, they must talk to the Srpska institutions.

"The institutions of Republika Srpska are a fact, as are the institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and if there is a change in the government partners at the BiH level, the institutions of Republika Srpska remain to be talked to," Goganović told reporters in Sarajevo.

Goganović stated that he does not know whether HDZ BiH will find partners in the opposition parties from Republika Srpska in the coming period, adding that he has always praised the leader of this party Dragan Čović as a man who is moderate in his statements.

"I don't believe that he gives up his long-term partners so easily, but we will see in the time ahead of us," Goganović stressed.

He emphasized that the SNSD has a control package in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, but that it does not block the work of the institutions, stating that the Serb representatives are in their positions and are performing their work tasks.

"The SDA blocked the House of Peoples for six months and it is not natural for the SNSD to come to the session of the House of Peoples where it will be removed from power," Goganović emphasized.

He repeated that there are no major security challenges in BiH, but that there is only a crisis of a political nature, which was confirmed to him by the commander of EUFOR in BiH, as well as by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
