TIME FOR KONAKOVIĆ TO FEEL WHAT RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS WORDS REALLY MEANS

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 27 /SRNA/ – The chair of the SNSD caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić states that it is time for the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković to feel what it means to be held accountable for his own words.

"He has long behaved as if everything is allowed to him. Defamation, insults, manipulation, cooperation with suspicious individuals, all of that falls under his name," Vulić told SRNA, commenting on the Municipal Court Sarajevo's order to seize Konaković's property with accrued interest after he was convicted of defamation and fined BAM 3,000.

Observing that Konaković is now playing the victim, Vulić said that his political arrogance has gone on long enough.

"If the law is the same for everyone, then his property should be seized. Although I doubt it; the judiciary has so far shown and proven that Konaković is their political protégé," Vulić added.

She emphasized that no one should be above justice, especially those who beat their chests with supposed morality while trampling on it every day.

"Justice may walk slowly, but when it arrives, it is relentless both for offenders and for those who protect them," Vulić concluded.
