SARAJEVO, APRIL 4 /SRNA/ - Today, the SRpska NAtional portal will begin publishing texts about radical Islam in BiH, a country in the heart of Europe where radical organizations, of which there are more than 1,500 have never been abolished or banned.
Also, the funding streams of people who are currently building their own mosques in the FBiH and constantly giving lectures on topics that have nothing to do with practical life in BiH have never been cut off.
Counter-terrorism expert Dževad Galijašević recently told SRNA that the biggest problem in BiH is that some people are organizing radical Islamists in various settlements, even in large centers, while others do not want to admit that they exist.
He stated that from 2016 until today, 69 Wahhabi settlements in 20 local communities have been registered on the territory of Federation of BiH /FBiH/. Some of those are placed at the border with Republika Srpska.
There are nine of them in the Zenica area alone, and they are located in the settlements of Podbrežje, Šerići on the stretch between Zenica and Teslići, Tetovo, Željezno Polje, Nemila, Topčić Polje, Orahovica, Gornja Mahala, Starina, and Arnauti.
When it comes to Sarajevo, Galijašević said that these are the settlements of Sokolje, Osijek, Boljakov Potok, Zaklopača, near Butmir Airport, Briješće Brdo, Dobroševići, Rajlovac, Bare near Stup, Kasindolska, and Zaulice.
Galijašević stated that Wahhabi communities also exist in municipalities of Žepče, Zavidovići, Banovići, Bihać, Cazin, Donji Vakuf, Gračanica, Goražde, Hadžići, Kakanj, Kalesija, Maglaj, Srebrenik, Tešanj, Travnik, Tuzla, Velika Kladuša, and Živinice.
According to Galijašević, this is confirmed by coordinated data from various security agencies in BiH, the region and Europe.
Some of these communities still cooperate with terrorist organizations of Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, Jabhat al-Nusra, and Islamic State.
