SARAJEVO, JULY 9 /SRNA/ - The ties between the Bosniak part of Sarajevo and Tehran pose a threat to the security of both BiH and Europe, yet the illegitimate Christian Schmidt remains silent about it, but Republika Srpska and its representatives, headed by Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Serb member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, will fully support the fight against terrorism, Deputy Minister of Defence in the Council of Ministers, Aleksandar Goganović, told
Goganović stressed that Republika Srpska remains firmly committed to combating terrorism and strengthening its partnership with the United States.
"The recent arrest of a BiH national in Germany shows that radical extremism is no longer just a domestic threat, but a direct security risk for the entire Europe. That’s why we must act decisively with our international partners," Goganović said.
He specifically warned about official Sarajevo, which, as he claims, has maintained close ties for years with structures linked to radical Islam.
"Part of the Bosniak political and religious establishment is building ties with Iran, a well-known sponsor of extremism, while at the same time refusing genuine cooperation in the area of security. Iran is using BiH as a platform to expand its influence in the Balkans, which directly threatens the interests of the US and the EU," Goganović pointed out.
Goganović emphasized that the silence of the illegitimate Schmidt, who himself comes from Germany and knows very well how dangerous such processes are for the EU, is particularly concerning.
The deputy minister of defense stated that Schmidt, who is leaving by the end of the year, had in the past also "painted a target on his forehead," which caused him to face numerous threats.
"If this is not stopped, the radicalism that has been tolerated for years in Sarajevo will inevitably spill over into the EU - Schmidt will bear responsibility for ignoring these obvious threats. Republika Srpska and its representatives, headed by Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Serb member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, will fully support the fight against terrorism, which threatens all of Europe," Goganović concluded.
