EAST SARAJEVO, August 12 /SRNA/ - Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić said that Christian Schmidt, without legitimacy or consent, has dismantled the Dayton Agreement and embarked on a path of political persecution of Serbs, stressing that this is the moment when the Serb people must clearly show in a referendum that they will not submit to the arbitrariness of those seeking to deny them their rights.
"This is the moment when the Serb people must clearly demonstrate that they reject the unilateral alteration of the Dayton Peace Agreement," Vulić told SRNA.
She emphasized that Republika Srpska is responding to all this calmly, democratically, and resolutely, by holding a referendum, where voting "yes" does not mean support for one individual or political party, but rather a vote for the survival, dignity, and future of Republika Srpska.
"In doing so, we confirm that we belong to our people and our Republic, that we are defending our freedom and the competencies that belong to us, and that we will never agree to humiliation or the erasure of our identity," Vulić stressed.
Following the ruling of the unconstitutional Court of BiH against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, a referendum is expected to be held in Srpska based on a decision by the National Assembly.
