PUTIN IS MEETING WITH REPUBLIKA SRPSKA DELEGATION AT THE KREMLIN

SARAJEVO, MAY 7 /SRNA/ – Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet at the Kremlin with a Republika Srpska delegation that will attend the Victory Day celebrations on May 9, the Russian Embassy in BiH announced.

Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov says that the delegation of Republika Srpska will traditionally attend the ceremonies in Moscow marking Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.

The delegation includes Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan, Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić, and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik.

The parade in Moscow serves as a reminder of the Great Patriotic War and the enormous sacrifice borne by the Soviet people.

Victory Day is observed in memory of May 9, 1945, when the capitulation of Nazi Germany brought an end to World War II in Europe.
