PRESIDENCY, COUNCIL OF MINISTERS AND PARLIAMENT DECIDE ON INCOME OF THE CENTRAL BANK

ŠEKOVIĆI, APRIL 23 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has said today that the income of the Central Bank of BiH is decided by the Presidency, the Council of Ministers and the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

Commenting on the decision of the Central Bank of BiH that, regardless of the decision of the Council of Ministers, it will not give money from the income to settle the debt according to the verdict in the "Viaduct" case, Dodik said that the Central Bank of BiH does not decide on this, adding that this institution has learned how to be excluded from everything.

"If they were paying attention, they would be paying attention to monetary policy and would not have put us in this position. In the last seven or eight years, Europe has printed more than EUR 2,500 billion without coverage, and they keep us connected to the euro," Dodik told reporters.

According to him, the value of what was in euros five years ago is twice as high today, while the exchange rate is persistently maintained.

Dodik says that representatives of the Central Bank of BiH only keep their good salaries.

"But that is no longer our issue and our problem," Dodik concluded.
