OPENING OF NEW GRADIŠKA BORDER CROSSING EXPECTED ON DECEMBER 11

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 1 /SRNA/ – The opening of the new Gradiška border crossing is expected on 11 December, SRNA was told from the Ministry of Security in the Council of Ministers.

The Ministry stated that it has completed its part of the work and issued a temporary approval for the opening of the newly constructed international border crossing in Gradiška.

"As was the case with the Svilaj border crossing, this is a temporary solution until a new border-crossing agreement is signed," the Ministry of Security explained.

The Ministry added that delegations of BiH and Croatia will soon begin negotiations on a new agreement on border crossings, which will permanently define the status of this and other crossing points between the two countries.
