SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 1 /SRNA/ - The Head of the BiH Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Saša Magazinović, expressed a personal view when he accused Serbia of promoting a “Greater Serbia” and being a threat to peace, a stance that is completely unacceptable to representatives of Republika Srpska, delegation member Miroslav Vujičić told SRNA.
Vujičić emphasized that Magazinović’s allegations are false and baseless.
"Serbia has never influenced the internal affairs of BiH in this way, and the Serbian leadership has repeatedly demonstrated that it respects its relations with BiH," Vujičić emphasized.
He reminded that Serbia was recently asked to provide gunpowder for the defense industry in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/, which enabled the Igman factory in Konjic to continue operating.
"Colleague Magazinović forgets that he asked for support from that ‘detested Serbia,’ and then responded to this humane gesture with the worst possible attacks. This is how his gratitude looks for help that enabled the survival of production in the FBiH," Vujičić said.
He also pointed out that the opposition in Serbia holds almost identical views to those of Magazinović, which, he emphasized, sends a clear message to the authorities in Belgrade about how some react to acts of goodwill and concrete steps by Serbia.
"Instead of focusing on the functioning of BiH, which is still under the OHR’s protectorate, representatives from the Federation constantly criticize Serbia, turning a blind eye to the positive things the authorities in Belgrade did for the FBiH," Vujičić said.
During his speech at the plenary session on the political crisis in Serbia, the Head of the BiH Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Saša Magazinović, accused the country of interfering in BiH’s internal affairs for decades and of being a threat to peace and stability.
