Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić.

EAST SARAJEVO, AUGUST 8 /SRNA/ - Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić said that the representative of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations commented on BiH during the UN Security Council meeting, and that Zlatko Lagumdžija is known for partly inventing things, partly hearing something in corridors and that is how he spreads it.

Vulić told SRNA that the Ambassador of BiH to the UN Zlatko Lagumdžija continues with the caricatural interpretation of international relations and processes in BiH, ignoring the facts and diplomatic nuances that are not favorable to his political narrative.

"It is true that Russian Federation clearly and consistently supported Republika Srpska, but it wasn't alone in that," Vulić said, commenting the Lagumdžija’s statement that "Russians were the sole member of the UN Security Council to deny court rulings".

Vulić pointed out that neither China, nor Brazil nor Mozambique supported the attacks on legally elected institutions of Republika Srpska, nor they did recognize the legitimacy of non-elected high representative, who works without the mandate of the UN Security Council.

"So-called `saving soldier Dodik` exists only in heads of those who doesn't want to realize that it is not about an individual, but about the principled struggle for the preservation of the constitutional order, rights of entities and opposition to the illegal, extra-institutional activities of foreigners," Vulić explained.

She pointed out that an increasing number of UN members who ask serious questions about the role of the OHR and its essential harm to the democratic development of BiH, instead of automatically accepting the narrative that has not brought solutions for decades.

She pointed out that the key question for Lagumdžija, who is otherwise known for his ideological commitment to the creation of a unitary BiH, is - did he even attend the closed session of the Security Council, about which he is now commenting?

"For now, there is no confirmation of his presence, but what we know is that Christian Schmidt is actively helping him in that ambition, by unpacking the Dayton Agreement and effectively canceling Article 1/2 of the BiH Constitution," Vulić noted.

She warned that the fact that perfidious and systematic pressure on the Serb people and Christian values is being implemented from BiH is becoming increasingly clear in UN circles as well.

"The extinguishing of the identity of Republika Srpska is not a `theory` but a plan that they are trying to implement despite the will of the people and the constitutional order," Vulić said.

She assessed that it is time to end this practice and that the talks be conducted on the basis of equality, international law and constitutional principles, and not on the basis of unilateral constructions by people who have long since lost the legitimacy to speak on behalf of the whole of BiH.

"The representative of the Mission of the Russian Federation made a comment about the closed session, and of course I believe him, and not the comments of part of the Federation of BiH, not Lagumdžija, who is known for inventing some things, hearing some in the corridor, and spreading the other across the corridor," said Vulić.
