BANJA LUKA, MARCH 23 /SRNA/ - Croats and HDZ still have vivid memories of the so-called "platform government" in the Federation of BiH, when the SDP kicked them out of power, even though they won the elections, and installed marginal Croat parties in power without the relevant support of the Croat people in BiH; the SDP is now calling on them to support and participate in the "anti-Serb platform" on the same principle, said SNSD spokesman, Radovan Kovačević.

In this sense, Kovačević emphasized, it is just a brief reminder that in the local elections a few months ago, the bloc gathered around the SNSD in Republika Srpska won about 420 thousand votes, about 63 percent of the people's support, while the complete opposition got barely 130 thousand votes, or 20 percent.

He has pointed out that this clearly and unequivocally says who from the Serb people and Republika Srpska residents got the legitimacy to represent the people.

Furthermore, Kovačević wrote on X social network, a Serb candidate for minister, who is promoted by "platformers" from Sarajevo that collect signatures for him, is the leader of a party that won barely 10 thousand votes, or about 1.5 percent, in those elections.

"The goal of the outsiders from the Republika Srpska opposition is quite clear and simple, to get into power. Without the support of the Serb people. At any cost, at the expense of Republika Srpska," Kovačević pointed out.

He has pointed out that the goal of the SDP and all other Sarajevo "platformers" is also clear, to destroy the principle of the constitution of the people and create a unitary country, without rights for Serbs and Croats.

"It is also clear that the goal of the Croats and the HDZ is to get what we have always supported, what Sarajevo took away from them and does not want to give them back, to elect their own representatives," Kovačević pointed out.

Kovačević emphasizes the only question is whether this is the way, because it will, without a doubt, leave deep consequences for the future overall relations between the peoples of BiH.

"In principle, we will keep supporting exclusively constitutional BiH, the union of two equal entities and three equal constituent peoples. This is precisely the only formula for overcoming the existing political and constitutional crisis in BiH," said Kovačević, who is also a deputy to the Serb People Caucus in the House of Peoples in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
