BANJA LUKA, APRIL 30 /SRNA/ - Radovan Kovačević, a member of the Serbian Caucus in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, says that the opposition in Srpska will go down in history as someone who worked against the interests of their people.
Kovačević emphasized that the Bosniaks, with the help of Christian Schmidt, are attempting to abuse the House of Peoples to dismantle the principle of the constituent peoples.
"In addition to their political representatives, the Bosniaks, in this struggle, now have two Serbian representatives who, as the media like to say, form the 'expanded Bosniak Caucus.' Unfortunately, we have Serbs who are part of that bloc and who are acting against the interests of Republika Srpska and the Serbian people," Kovačević stressed.
He added that the ultimate goal is the dismantling of Republika Srpska, and that the Bosniaks are attempting to achieve this through the illegitimate /High Representative/ Schmidt.
Until this situation is resolved, Kovačević says, no decision will be made in BiH.
Kovačević says that Serbs and Croats will remain steadfast in the fight for their rights.
"The expanded Bosniak Caucus will continue to attack and call on Schmidt to resolve the problem in the House of Peoples. The Constitution says that a quorum requires three representatives from each constituent people. The Bosniaks have already used the possibility of blockade twice, but if the Serbs and Croats use it, then Schmidt is expected to intervene," said Kovačević.
However, Kovačević emphasized, this leads to only one outcome – the dissolution of BiH.
He says that this united Bosniak bloc, with the support of two Serbs, is launching an assault on the rights of Serbs and Croats.
According to Kovačević, they are calling for international intervention against President Dodik, who represents the institutional unity of Republika Srpska, as well as against Republika Srpska and the Serbian people, whom they seek to reduce to a puppet of the Bosniak people in BiH.
"When you bring down a person who was elected by the will of the people and openly write in the indictment that you are prosecuting him because he respected the Constitution of Srpska, it is clear that you are attacking Srpska, and the will of its citizens," said Kovačević.
