KOVAČEVIĆ: OPPOSITION HAS THE SUPPORT OF FIVE BOSNIAK MPs, WHILE SNSD AND COALITION HAVE THE SUPPORT OF 500,000 MORE SERBS

EAST SARAJEVO, JUNE 29 /SRNA/ - The opposition has the support of five Bosniak MPs, and the SNSD and the coalition have the support of 500,000 more Serbs, said Radovan Kovačević, a Serb member of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

"It will remain that way," Kovačević wrote on X, sharing a video of his speech at a session of the House of Peoples.

Responding to claims by opposition MPs that SNSD MPs were elected with Bosniak votes, Kovačević emphasized that Nikola Špirić was elected with four Serb votes and one Bosniak vote.

"You want to remove him with five Bosniak votes and two Serb votes. So, it’s very simple in that regard. I understand that you currently have the support of five more MPs from the Bosniak Caucus, but fortunately, we still have - and especially in the next elections will have - the support of 500,000 more Serbs. It will remain that way," Kovačević said.
