SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – According to the Constitution of BiH, laws can be adopted or amended solely and exclusively by the Parliamentary Assembly, while the Constitutional Court of BiH is an institution with the constitutional mandate to protect that very Constitution, said the Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Radovan Kovačević.
"Under the BiH Constitution, things are very clear and simple. However, up to this moment, that hasn't meant much," Kovačević emphasized.
He pointed out that unconstitutional decisions by the Constitutional Court will certainly not contribute to stabilization, but rather represent the fastest path to uncertainty for BiH.
"The only important thing is that everyone is aware of that," Kovačević posted on X, commenting on today's extraordinary session of the Constitutional Court of BiH, during which the appeal of President Milorad Dodik against the verdict of the Court of BiH is to be considered.
