SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – The head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Sanja Vulić, has stated today that the call by SDA Leader Bakir Izetbegović for Milorad Dodik’s removal from political arena represents a call for political liquidation, which she described as the act of a desperate person.
Vulić said to Izetbegović that when the word “president” is mentioned in Republika Srpska, everyone immediately thinks of Milorad Dodik.
“In the rest of BiH, when you say ‘president,’ it doesn’t evoke anything, which is actually your problem. Statements of this type represent inappropriate influence, but they also reveal ignorance of the fact that the world has already entered a new multipolar era,” Vulić emphasized.
She noted that Izetbegović remained silent when he and the SDA were removed from power by former U.S. Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy and the OHR, yet today he is bothered by Dodik and the party that bears Milorad Dodik’s name.
“This dependence on internationals reminds of a kind of Stockholm syndrome, I really have no other explanation,” Vulić told SRNA.
According to her, the Western world and Europe are spaces that uphold Christian values and were built upon them, and in the future there will not be Islamic dominance, particularly not in the form of radical Islam.
“Constitutiveness means a third, not a half or more, and I understand the fear arising from the fact that the concept of a ‘civic BiH’ /essentially Bosniak/ has failed and has long been abandoned. If you are used to being elected, imposed upon, and governed, we are not,” Vulić said.
The head of the SNSD Caucus stressed that she is open to dialogue, but sees impositions and calls for political liquidation as the moves of a desperate person.
SDA Leader Bakir Izetbegović has said today, before the party’s Main Comiittee meeting, that Dodik must be completely removed from political arena.
