IZETBEGOVIĆ, BECAUSE OF HIS TIES TO RADICAL ELEMENTS, IS THE LAST PERSON ENTITLED TO TALK ABOUT NARRATIVES

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - Bakir Izetbegović, because of his ties to radical elements, is the last person entitled to talk about “certain narratives,” said the Serb BiH Presidency member, Željka Cvijanović.

Cvijanović emphasized that the persistent, choral demands by Bakir Izetbegović /SDA/ and other Bosniak political elites for the outdated and undemocratic apparatus in the form of the OHR to continue brutally clashing with democracy, the Constitution, and the will of the people, clearly demonstrates official Sarajevo’s inability to build BiH as a shared state of its constituent peoples.

“Bakir Izetbegović, because of his ties to radical elements, is the last person entitled to talk about ‘certain narratives.’ And if it really must be commented on, I’ll say that his political role models set forth the thesis that there can be no coexistence between the Islamic faith and non-Islamic social and political institutions,” Cvijanović said following Izetbegović’s statement that the OHR must remain and that Dodik must be removed from political arena, warning of the narrative that follows.

Cvijanović added that their religious leaders had said that all peoples gained their own states after the breakup of the former Yugoslavia, except the Bosniaks. “We recognised the problem in that and are fighting in our own way against the domination of one people over the other two,” Cvijanović stressed.

The OHR, she says, has served that concept of domination well, but disserved BiH under the pretext of creating a supposedly functional state.

Where the OHR has led it, Cvijanović pointed out, can clearly be seen in the current state of BiH.

“Despite all the pressures to which Republika Srpska is exposed, we send a message to Bakir Izetbegović and those like him: We are alive and intend to remain alive. Republika Srpska is our life and our defence against Izetbegović’s megalomaniacal political ambitions. Perhaps they were able to deceive many, but cannot deceive us, because we know both their face and their true nature. And yes, we are Christians and we defend Christianity,” she said.

According to her, just as we do not deny others the right to be what they wish, we will not allow others to absorb us into concepts in which identities disappear under the guise of building a supposedly functional state.

“We do not hate anyone, but we have the right to defend ourselves from Sarajevo’s hatred,” Cvijanović posted on X.
