INDICTMENTS CONFIRMED AS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED, LAGUMDŽIJA ADMITS INFLUENCE OVER JUDICIARY

EAST SARAJEVO, May 2 /SRNA/ – Zlatko Lagumdžija has admitted that certain political circles exert influence over judicial institutions, confirming that some indictments are politically motivated and deliberately aimed at legally elected representatives of the Serb people, stated Sanja Vulić, head of the SNSD parliamentary group in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

Vulić emphasized that the indictment against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik is not the result of lawful and impartial judicial action but a politically orchestrated attack by those seeking to discipline Republika Srpska and its leadership.

"This is not the rule of law, but a blatant abuse of institutions for political purposes," Vulić told SRNA.

Lagumdžija, BiH's ambassador to the UN, revealed in federal media a so-called roadmap for the dismantling of BiH, which BiH representatives, led by Presidency member Denis Bećirović, are allegedly using in a diplomatic offensive to counter what he described as a project to create a so-called "Greater Serbia".

Vulić pointed out that Lagumdžija made a number of serious accusations without presenting any concrete evidence to support the existence of a coordinated plan to dismantle BiH institutions.

According to her, the use of terms such as "roadmap for dismantling," without credible documentation or verified sources, constitutes political speculation rather than responsible and objective diplomatic reporting.

"In his public appearance, Lagumdžija practically admitted that certain political circles have influence over the judiciary of BiH, thereby further confirming what we have been highlighting for years - that some indictments are politically motivated, premeditated, and specifically targeted at legally elected representatives of the Serb people," she said.

Vulić stressed that statements of this kind, coming from a former high-ranking official and current international representative of BiH, represent unacceptable interference in the judiciary and an open admission that institutions are being used as tools of political struggle.

"We call on all domestic and international actors to finally show respect for the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH and the clearly expressed democratic will of the people in Republika Srpska, whose will is Milorad Dodik," said Vulić.

She emphasized that Republika Srpska remains committed to defending its rights, freedoms, and constitutional position, as well as fighting against political persecution disguised as so-called justice.

"The MBB project, which could have been of great benefit to the Serb people, is just another pathological lie orchestrated by Zlatko Lagumdžija, without any real basis or concrete facts," Vulić concluded.
